MOSCOW, Sep 25 (PRIME) -- There is no talk about any additional restrictions linked to the spread of coronavirus yet, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.

“As far as I know, there is no talk about it yet,” he said.

Moscow City Mayor Sergei Sobyanin earlier asked elderly people to limit visits to crowded placed and also asked employers to shift as many employees as possible to remote work.

Director of Moscow’s trade and services department Alexei Nemeryuk told PRIME that the city’s government does not yet have plans to close restaurants and cafes, or change their operations regime.

Deputy Director of the Central Scientific and Research Institute of Epidemiology of the Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare Oversight Alexander Gorelov said that there is no need to limit mass events as the curve of new coronavirus infection cases is smooth.
